"The First Gift of Christmas"

It's amazing how snow transforms the spirit.
I work in an office full of grown adults and today I felt as if I were playing with a bunch of ten year olds.

No complaints. Today was nothing short of wonderful. After a snowball fight with my boss and cousin, I left work and immediately called my dearest friend, Anna... here is how the conversation played out.

Anna: "IT'S JESSIEEEEEEE!"
Me: "OH MY GOOOOOOSH! ANNNAAAA IT'S SNOWING!!! I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED! AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!
Anna: "I KNOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW! COME OVER AND LET'S PLAY IN THE SNOW!!!!!
Me: "I'M ON MY WAY RIGHT NOW! OH MY GOSH ANNAAAAA! THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

I've never played in real snow. I've never made a real snowman. I've never waged war in a real snowball fight. Today I checked all of those off of my "never-have-I-ever" list.

Yesterday I was sweating in a t-shirt and today I frolicked in the snow.
Thank you Lord, for such an awesome surprise and a wonderful friend to share it with.

Jessie

I wish I was in this picture. I would be in the middle. I am depressed that there was NO snow in SL... curse me for wanting to take my winter break a week earlier than everyone else... :(
